part mascot, part menace, full-time coworker.

riso represents the messy, analog, slightly unhinged spirit of hey!curbside.
anti-algorithm. pro-naps. usually sitting on something important.

riso exists because someone took my weird idea and made it real.
huge thank you to our illustrator, Amy for bringing this little gremlin to life with so much personality and care.

this project is built with real collaborators, not stock mascots or AI (yuckkkk)
and we’re really proud of that.

amy, my massage therapist — she kills my tension with her hands and her sarcasm. a true dual-wielding healer.  (bonus: she has unstoppable short girl energy).

amanda, my hairstylist — for keeping my hair ethereal while we talk ghosts, tiktok, and that documentary we watched on Netflix that we can’t remember the name of.


the beanery — for always having the mop ready, because my husband doesn’t spill tea… just cappuccinos. regularly. spectacularly.
