emotionally invested in both lord of the rings and real housewives of salt lake city (a delicate balance, honestly).

i made hey!curbside because i got tired of chasing connection on apps that don’t actually want us to connect. after zuck nuked three of my instagrams for whatever reason,  i realized maybe the algorithm shouldn’t be holding my creative endeavors hostage.

this space is my love letter to the creative community – part cv, part scrapbook, part journal, built out of fomo and genuine affection & admiration for the weird, talented people i’ve met along the way.

think of this as the digital version of a neighborhood bulletin board. pin your work, shout out your favorite small biz, drop your latest obsession.

Hi! I'm Dixie!

I started an educational consulting business about two years ago. It’s been slow because my main focus has been raising a semi-decent little human. As he is getting closer to starting school, my mind cannot stop thinking about all the ways I can work on my “digital baby”. So, here I am trying (and mostly failing) to balance it all.

I’m so excited to see what everyone is working on. I love watching other people grow and celebrating them. It is such a big motivator to me! Anyway, happy to be here with you all.
